November Mail Drop: Cozy Critters and Fall Leaves
A cozy recap of the postcards that just left our mailbox.
This month’s postcards were all about fall feelings. Warm colors, sleepy critters, and that quiet pause before the holidays kick into full speed. We curated two designs from Kayni Paper that feel like a deep breath and a cozy sweater in mailbox form.
We are excited to kick off a new monthly series here in our Mail Drop Archive. Each month, we share a closer look at the postcards we curated for the previous subscription, along with the artists behind the artwork and a few writing ideas to get you started. Think of it as a little behind the scenes peek at the happy mail that just left our hands and headed to our members’ mailboxes.
This month’s artwork is by Kayni Paper. You can find more of their work on Instagram at @kaynipaper or visit their Etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/kaynipaper to explore more cozy designs.
Whether you sent your cards to a long distance bestie, a family member you miss, or a friend who loves autumn as much as you do, this set was made for slow and thoughtful check ins.
Postcard One: Pumpkin Patch Pals
We started this month’s set with pure joy. Pumpkin Patch Pals is a playful scene filled with bright orange, mint, and golden pumpkins, plus a crew of cozy pups lounging and exploring between the gourds. It feels like a long fall weekend with your favorite people and zero big plans.
Why we chose it
Fall can lean serious and sentimental, so we wanted a card that feels light and fun. The happy dogs and colorful pumpkins capture the feeling of laughing with friends in the kitchen, sharing snacks, and telling small stories that somehow make the season feel extra special.
What to write on it
This card works beautifully for:
- A friend group update
- Sharing a funny story or recent pumpkin spice level obsession
- A thank you note after a fall gathering or visit
“Tell your bestie about three little things that made last month feel extra cozy.”
Postcard Two: Fox in the Fall Garden
Our second postcard shifts into a quieter moment. A bright red fox sits in a field of yellow blooms while red leaves swirl overhead. A mustard band along the bottom grounds the scene and gives the whole design an afternoon glow.
Why we chose it
We loved how calm this fox feels. It looks like it has paused on a busy day just to look up and enjoy the moment. That is the same energy we want for this membership. Press pause, grab a pen, and think about someone you care about for a few minutes.
What to write on it
This card is perfect for:
- A check in with a friend you have not talked to in a while
- A note of encouragement to someone who is in a busy season
- A simple “thinking of you” for no reason at all
“Hey Bestie, what is something small that has been bringing you joy lately?”
